This single chamber top Jet convection plus furnace can be used to temper kinds of top-quality flat glass, especially soft Low-E glass and super Low-E glass with emissivity value ≥ 0.02 for buildings.

This Furnace is mainly consisted of loading table, heating furnace with top jet convection heating plus system, flat quenching section, unloading table, blower system with Schneider frequency inverters, air ducting system and Siemens electric control system, etc. 

1. Main control system elements are Siemens PLC ( SIMATIC S7-1500 ) modules for stable and reliable operation.

2. QSM system: it could timely record production process and production temperature, time, air pressure any time could be showed. Therefore, testing production shall be saved and production stability shall be improved. Meanwhile, the production state in different batches shall be tracked.

3. The furnace is equipped with top jet convection plus system ( Patented ): high efficient heat transfer structure; the convection device is made of top-quality heat-resistant stainless steel, air pressure distribution inside convection device shall be more even; special tools make the inspection and maintenance more convenient. The convection box shall be scientifically designed. There shall be air-recycling tunnels for waste heat to go back into the next re-circulation after blasted heat transfer to glass, which can save heating time and heating energy-consumption. Patented air nozzle plate is designed to increase air-jetting pressure, improving convection efficiency and realizing true forced convection.

4. Advanced high-temperature convection blower technology ( Patented ) shall be applied in convection system to eliminate electro-magnetic vibration caused by frequency variation and ensure stable air convection.

5. The bearing is imported from Europe. Thanks to the optimized engineering design of impeller, high-quality temperature-resistant steel used and excellent dynamic balance, smooth and reliable running of the convection blower shall be guaranteed. Up to now, working life of convection blower installed has lasted more than 8 years without failure.

6. Archimedes Spiral air ducting system shall be designed & installed in convection box, which makes sure convection air pressure is evenly distributed inside, air pressure loss shall be minimized and uneven stress and high temperature-creep on glass shall be eliminated.

7. Cleaning technology shall be applied in forced jet convection plus system in order to avoid dust and particles falling from insulation material, caused by jet convection airflow wash-out, and further improving product quality.

8. Advanced intelligent temperature control modules ( SIEMENS ) makes furnace temperature more uniform, glass more flat and optical quality higher. Meanwhile, the temperature shall be controlled precisely and energy consumption is lowered. The jet convection heating shall be supplied for the top and bottom of heating furnace.

9. Horizontal adjustment system of ceramic rollers shall be applied to strictly ensure the leveling of ceramic rollers and avoid glass off-set problem.

10. The furnace offers excellent thermal insulation by adopting Patented technology for anchoring furnace lining. Considerable power consumption shall thus be reduced, and even and uniform furnace temperature shall be safeguarded.

11. Tailor-made ceramic rollers from VESUVIUS, China shall be installed and maintained via a specially designed mechanism;

12. Double “O” ring belts or single O ring belts + timing belts shall be adopted for furnace main drive and synchronization of rollers driving shall be guaranteed.  

13. The quenching system shall be specially designed based on hydrodynamics, engineering calculation and experiments. Therefore, the quality of end product shall be improved and the air marks shall be reduced as a result of the optimum shape of air nozzle, optimum space between each two nozzles and optimum air jetting distance.

14. The system has a high automation. Optimum energy saving feature leads to lower power consumption.

15. Independently-controlled technology of convection blowers by inverters: flexible frequency profile shall be made by independently-controlled convection blowers, which is controlled by inverters, in order to temper different kinds of glass and keep heating time short.

16. New-type matrix heating technology adopted ( Patented ): it makes that the heating control is more accurate, high efficient and energy-saving. Long-term working life, stable fixing and easy maintenance of heaters can be realized. Moreover, more even furnace temperature makes glass with better optical quality. It is the key technology that the furnace has been accepted by developed countries, like USA, and etc.

17. Unique zoning technology of heaters: profiling heating across and along the furnace is realized, which makes heating power and loading efficiency the best optimal mix, every part of heating area controllable and flatness of end products improved.

18. Patented heater: spiral heating coil shall be adopted with the features of advanced insulation porcelain, reasonable surface power, larger heat exchange area, higher heating efficiency and long working life.
